While your dog is at 2nd Family daycare, you know he/she is not pining away, bored, worried, stressed, getting “soft” sleeping all day, crying and/or staring at the door waiting for your return. Instead, while you do what you do, let your pup stay with us to socialize, exercise and enjoy playing with the pack. Our facility is made for lots of safe fun.
Accommodations: 2nd Family includes 3,300 square feet of indoor playroom space. Our outdoor play area is 16,000 square feet with plenty of room for running, jumping, and all round fun.
In the hot summer months pools, shade and misters are provided. Our dog playground equipment keeps things interactive and interesting.
If your dog eats a meal during the day, please be sure your dog has food before attending daycare as we don't provide a lunch time service for daycare dogs.
Whether your dog is inside or outside they are always supervised by our dog loving staff members.
Notice of Fees:
Early / Late drop off or pick up is not guaranteed and if available will result in $15 charge.
Guests not checked out by closing time will need to pay for a night of boarding and be checked out the next day. Please understand that during these holiday and summer times when we are sold out, if you do not pick up your dog on the scheduled day of departure they will most likely need to be moved to a portable kennel.
There will be an $17 no show fee for Friday daycare reservations not kept or same day cancellations.
If 2nd Family Dogs, in its own discretion, determines that a boarding or daycare dog is deemed too aggressive to play safely with other dogs they will automatically be separated from all other dogs and put in Special Handling. Additional rates will apply for Special Handling of $9.00 per day per dog will apply until the dog is picked up. Once notified that your dog has been deemed too aggressive to socialize with the rest of the dog pack your dog will not be allowed to return for boarding or daycare for the safety of all dogs.
